About Us

The Holiday Activities and Food programme (HAF) is a Department for Education funded programme that provides free holiday clubs for Reception to year 11 pupils in receipt of benefits-related free school meals.

 

The holiday provision will take place across Oxfordshire over the long Summer, Winter and Spring holidays. 

 

The Holiday Activities and Food programme is designed to ensure children and young people reach physical activity guidelines and develop their skills and knowledge.

 

It also provides them access to nutritious food and improves their understanding and awareness of healthy eating, healthy lifestyles and positive behaviours.

About the Role

In this post you will support the HAF coordinators with administrative functions of the delivery of the Holiday Activity and Food (HAF) programme in Oxfordshire. This includes booking provider meetings, collating and processing information for procurement decisions, extracting and processing data for DfE reports.

 

You will work with a wide range of external organisations supporting them in uploading their Spring, Summer and Winter activities to the centralised booking system.

 

You will be a calm and reassuring presence to support families with phone and email queries to ensure they can access holiday provision, check their eligibility and monitor bookings prior to and during delivery.

 

You will offer communications and marketing support, working with the HAF Coordinator to help design a communication plan for the HAF programme, including via social media.

About you

You will have a reassuring style of verbal and written communication.

You will be able to work with a wide range of partners and service users, building positive relationships with wider teams and stakeholders.

You will have experience of preparing data for social care or department for education reports.  

You will have a level 3 academic qualification (or above) and are able to collate, analyse and interpret data.
