About Us
Oxfordshire Educational Psychology Service EPS is committed to promoting the inclusion of all children and young people, raising achievement and narrowing the gap for vulnerable groups through early intervention and multi-agency working. Oxfordshire EPS provides statutory support for education, health and care needs assessments alongside early intervention work commissioned by schools through our traded offer and through early intervention programmes to secure psychological support for children and young people. We are seeking an enthusiastic and creative psychology graduate with experience of working with children and young people in an educational or mental health context to join a supportive, friendly service.
About the Role
We are looking to recruit a new Assistant Educational Psychologist within the EPS to support early intervention work and projects, such as the Emotional Literacy Support Assistant Training and supervision programme offered by the service. The main role of Assistant Educational Psychologists is to work alongside EP colleagues in applying psychology to improve outcomes for children and young people with SEN and additional educational needs.
About you
Applications are welcomed from psychology graduates (with a 2:1 or above) who have at least 2 years relevant full-time equivalent experience of working with children/young people, parent/carers and professionals. The psychology qualification must confer Graduate Basis for Chartered Membership (GBC).
