An exciting role is available in our fast-paced team supporting our Family Solutions Plus Team.

The Family Solutions Plus programme is an integrated and multi disciplinary service that improves how we work with families.

  • Providing the right support at the right time to help children and families overcome their difficulties
  • Enabling social workers and practitioners to deliver meaningful interventions to create lasting change
  • Supporting Children within their own family/community wherever possible; their identity and sense of belonging are nurtured and respected

Our business support team is the vital engine of Children’s Social Care. Working together with our dedicated social work teams, we provide essential support for children & families in our community.

This role is crucial in supporting our Social Workers and Team Managers to work effectively to deliver outstanding services to local children and families in your community.

 

About the Role

We are looking for two Team Support Assistants to provide administrative support to our Family Solutions Plus teams.

These roles do have the requirement to attend your office location at least twice a week located in Abingdon and Didcot with some flexibility with agile working either from another Children and Family Centre or from home depending on the requirements for the service.

Some of the work that you will be undertaking will be:

  • Building excellent working relationships with professionals and members of the public and providing efficient and first-class customer service. Strong IT skills and excellence in customer care essential.
  • You will be answering telephone calls, diary management, team inbox management.
  • Supporting and processing financial transactions
  • Maintaining client records and uploading information on our database.
  • Archiving and electronic filing

We have a dedicated training and induction plan for all new starters where we will develop your knowledge, skills and expertise in business administration in order for you to be successful in your role. As part of the induction period you will be required to work onsite everyday.

 

About you

You will be a person who can build excellent working relationships with professionals and members of the public.

You will be a highly organised individual, with good IT skills and will be able to provide efficient first-class customer service to all users of the Service.
