What You’ll Do
As Talent Management Consultant within our internal Talent team, you’ll identify strategies and solutions to attract and recruit candidates with highly desirable skill sets and retain them as long as possible to create a workforce of the future for OCC. You’ll utilise relevant workforce planning data and your up to date knowledge of the best sourcing approaches and digital tools to tap into diverse candidate pools, both active and passive.
This role is focused on building a strong employer brand, understanding the candidate experience, designing effective assessment and selection approaches and overall, how to make effective recruitment decisions. The Talent team understand the labour market, OCC’s market position and our unique people proposition to ensure roles are engaging to a wide range of people.
You’ll have ownership of projects such as (but not limited to!) reducing our contingent workforce, supporting with redeployment, supporting People Partners with delivering workforce and succession planning initiatives and executive recruitment. This team will also be responsible for delivering on the ‘ATTRACT’ workstream of Our People & Culture strategy.
About You
You’ll have extensive experience in talent acquisition, and a proven track record with successful campaigns to recruit into hard to fill and niche roles. Strong leadership and project management skills are essential, with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously. Excellent communication and interpersonal skills are essential, with the ability to build effective relationships with stakeholders at all levels. You’ll also have knowledge of relevant legislation and best practice, EDI, employer branding and recruitment marketing. Experience in using applicant tracking systems and other recruitment technologies is also required.
