About the Role
You will oversee the financial configuration and management of line of business finance systems, including corporate system interfaces. You will provide technical accounting advice and support to operational projects and teams and support with new developments, ensuring finance requirements and regulations are met. When required, you will work as part of a project team, working group, or independently. You will design, generate, and maintain financial reports and dashboards to ensure sound financial management and data quality.
Below are some examples of the projects you would work on:
- Assisting planning colleagues in developing their planning system and integrating finance data flows with corporate systems.
- Collaborating with the capital governance program to enhance data flows and multi-system reporting.
- Working with finance and commercial teams, Data and IT to create a finance data warehouse and dynamic dashboards for service departments.
About you
You will be passionate about finding innovative ways to enhance systems and bring fresh ideas to life whilst not diminishing financial controls or reliability. You will love working with data and have the ability to leverage insights to drive informed decisions at every level. We are looking for candidates who:
- Significant experience in finance, data, and business systems
- Experience in developing and improving finance systems
- CCAB qualified
- Strong IT skills, especially with Microsoft Excel and related applications
- Team player committed to achieving goals
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills
- Understanding of project management principles and proven project delivery experience
