We are looking for an enthusiastic and committed partnerships project manager to join our innovative public health team. In this role, you will coordinate the Oxfordshire Combating Drugs Partnership and support Public Health-led partnerships to deliver national policy at a local level. You will work with council colleagues and system-wide partners to deliver Public Health Programmes, with a specific focus on the Combating Drugs partnership initially.
You will support the delivery of multi-agency strategic action plans, ensuring they reflect current public health best practices, guidance, and evidence base. You will work cohesively with a wide range of stakeholders, including the public health team, subgroup chairs, and multi-agency partners. Your leadership will promote the values of the organization and facilitate a joined-up, holistic approach across the council.
About you
The successful candidate will have:
- Experience managing complex projects and partnerships with short and medium-term funding, using project management principles
- A flair for influencing partners to deliver against commitments within agreed timescales
- Strong planning and reporting skills
- The ability to interpret data and present information effectively
- Strong communication and co-ordination skills
- The ability to solve problems creatively as they arise

This role sits within the Live Well, Improve and Enable team in Public Health, reporting to the Senior Policy Officer. However, the role holder will have matrix working with chairs of the relevant boards and strategy leaders as appropriate.
