About the Role

The Money Management Team supports adults and children across the county of Oxfordshire with the management of their finances. The team delivers financial support services to people who have social care needs in the community. The team ensure that the service provided meets the individual needs of each person: protecting their financial assets from misuse or fraud and ensuring the most effective use of individual resources. 

The team is highly motivated, dedicated, and passionate, and work closely to support each other and the residents of Oxfordshire.

 

About you

We are looking for an enthusiastic, highly motivated person to join the Money Management Team in delivering a great service to the people of Oxfordshire. 

We invite people who are creative, inclusive and passionate about doing things differently, whilst delivering timely, good quality, high performing services. 

With experience of working with people who are elderly, have mental health or learning disabilities, you will be able to work on your own initiative and as part of a team. An organised methodical approach is essential, as are; the ability to work to tight deadlines and communicate effectively, both verbally and in writing. 

You will have a flexible approach to agile working and be able to manage competing priorities.

Starting Salary £33,366 rising to £36124 (pay negotiations are currently taking place) Annual leave entitlement of 30 days plus bank holidays (rising to 33 days after 10 year’s service) Usual provision for flexible working, sick pay, maternity/paternity leave as well as other benefits.  Access to staff wellbeing service and various staff discounts.  Local Government Pension Scheme.
