About the Role
Oxfordshire Fire and Rescue Service Driving Centre is a collaborative partnership with Buckinghamshire Fire & Rescue Service and the successful candidate will be managing a team delivering driver training for all different types of vehicles and specialist equipment used by the two services.
About you
To be successful in this role you need to have excellent communication skills both verbal and written, enjoy working with people and have a proactive approach to fire prevention and reducing risks. You should have the ability and be able to display that you can manage your own workloads and prioritise tasks to meet the needs of the department.
For this role you require a full driving licence and be educated to GCSE level in Maths and English A-C or equivalent. Your will need good IT skills and be competent with Microsoft Office applications.
Within in this role you will need the ability to work unsupervised and be aware of your own responsibilities with regards to Health and Safety. You need to have a positive and flexible approach to all duties asked of you.
Face to face Interviews will be held week commencing 24 November 2025
The interview will consist of an assessment of your driving and teaching ability, a series of questions and a short presentation.
