Children and Family Care Services supports Children/Young people aged 0 -18yrs who have a diagnosed disability and are open to the Disability Social work teams.

About the Role

We are looking for an experienced manager, to take responsibility for a team of Behaviour support and Education behaviour support workers, ensuring the support they provide meets the needs of the young people. You will demonstrate your commitment to working with children and young people to support the best possible outcomes 

In addition, you will deputise for the team manager and need to be confident in decision making, have an evidenced understanding of safeguarding and be able to work to CQC Domiciliary Care Standards. 

 

About you

A minimum of 2 years proven experience involving directly supporting individuals who communicate their unmet needs through their behaviour. You will be familiar in developing and supporting the delivery of Positive Behaviour Support strategies. 

You will have a proven track record of supporting and supervising a staff team and you will need to be committed to effectively engaging with internal, external and partner agencies to carry out statutory duties policy and procedures.
